Conner Romanowsky is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of New Jersey. She earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2018, completing clinical internships at Long Branch High School and Corner House Behavioral Health.
Conner began her career in substance use treatment, supporting individuals living with opioid addiction, co-occurring mental health concerns, and the lifelong process of recovery. She later returned to Corner House Behavioral Health as a clinician before fulfilling a longtime professional goal of serving military veterans as a Readjustment Counselor with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
In 2022, Conner founded The Somatic Healing and Wellness Center of New Jersey to create a space where women could receive compassionate, individualized care that honors the connection between mind, body, nervous system, and spirit. Her work integrates psychodynamic and parts-based therapy with somatic experiencing, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, meditation, and sound healing. She believes meaningful healing happens through genuine connection, curiosity, and a therapeutic relationship where every part of a person is welcome.
Beyond her work as a therapist, Conner is a classically trained pianist, artist, motorcycle rider, and lifelong explorer of creativity, spirituality, and the mysteries of the Universe. Her love of music, symbolism, and embodied experience continues to shape the warmth, intuition, and creativity she brings to her work.
